We pray for,
Those whose confidence is shattered,
And some whose dreams cannot be reached.
Those who feel low because life is hard,
And others lonely when there is no one.
Some are short of basic needs,
And have nowhere safe to go.
There are some who are so lonely,
Even in a milling crowd.
Others hide in lonely places,
Hoping none will see them there.
People struggle when sickness strikes,
And loved ones grieve when faced with death.
Some of them are near beside you,
With those who smile and try to help.
Many give when they have little,
And others rise in the dead of night,
Comfort in their gentle touch.
Showing where to find the Saviour,
In the eyes of other’s gaze.
We are Christ for Christ is us,
Reaching out to one another,
Extending arms as from above.
No one lost, and all forgiven
Look around you, none forgotten
Sense the Presence, pure love Divine.
